• Origami 
• Silhouette water color paintings-cut shapes out of black paper (Swing set and a tree, flowers, a house) and and then paste them onto a painting of a sunset
• collages (using magazines, newspapers, dry beans, noodles, buttons, ripped up paper)
• Eric Carle art projects (super fun!)-look him up if you don't know who he is 
• Make a sculpture out of the stuff in the recycling bin
• Make a book
• Create name tags for the doors to their rooms
• Make a pinecone bird feeder
• Practice Pointillism using a cue tip or, if the child is older, a paint brush 
• Strap crayons to paper (using tap) and then use a blow dryer to melt them 
• Paper mache 
• Make homemade play dough (edible or non-edible)
• Make homemade slim (corn starch and water colored green)
• Make flowers out of coffee filters
• Do splatter paint 
• Weave paper or yarn (tethered to a cardboard piece with slits for a homemade loom) 
• cheerio/fruit loop necklaces
• Finger-painting (edible-pudding-or non-edible)
• Popsicle stick puzzles-line a bunch up on a piece of tape. Draw pic or paint pic. Let dry. And take apart.

• Instruments (Tambourine-put beans in between two paper plates, guitar using empty kleenex box and rubber bands, Maracas-paper cups with beans)

• String art (put string in cornstartch and water-place on paper in cool designs and wait for it to dry)
• Toilet paper tube flowers/designs (fold tube in half and cut)
• Make counting book by clipping pictures from a magazine or using stickers
